Pasqal is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment through this code of conduct (“Code of Conduct”).

In that case, any significant modification of the Code of Conduct will be notified to the User by the introduction of a pop-up on the website or by e-mail. This is your community. Help us maintain a welcoming, respectful, collaborative and inspiring environment.

You must read and agree with this Code of Conduct before using the Community Platform.

Principles of the Code of Conduct

Pasqal expects you to have a good behaviour that contributes to creating a positive environment.

Please find below a list of possible good behaviours. It is not intended to be exhaustive.

  • Using polite and welcoming language;
  • Being respectful of others viewpoints, experiences, and cultures;
  • Being mindful of the other Users and listening to each other;
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism;
  • Valuing the contributions of all users;
  • Avoiding any conflict with any other user;
  • Pointing out inappropriate behaviour like racist, sexist, or biased comments and jokes made by community members if this happens.

Definition of unacceptable behaviour

Pasqal expects you not to have inappropriate and/or unacceptable behaviour that would contribute to creating a negative environment.

Please find below a list of possible unacceptable behaviours. It is not intended to be exhaustive.

  • Using inappropriate language, such as sexualized or impolite;
  • Making insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks;
  • Harassing another User publicly or privately, including offensive or degrading language;
  • Publishing another User’s private information, such as its name, a telephone number, an electronic or physical address, without his explicit consent;
  • Publishing screenshots or quotes, especially from identity slack channels, private chat, or public events, without all quoted Users’ explicit consent;
  • Engaging in spamming activities, such as repeatedly sending unsolicited messages, making advertisements, or promotional content to community members without previous Pasqal’s authorization.

Consequences for non-compliance

The entire Pasqal community is responsible for upholding the terms of the Code of Conduct on the Community Platform and reporting violations if they see them.

If a User engages in negative or harmful behaviour, Pasqal will take any action that Pasqal deems appropriate, including but not limited to issuing warnings, deleting comments, permanent banning from the Community Platform, or warning local law enforcement in the event of an infraction.

Pasqal shall have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, and other User’s contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to temporarily or permanently ban any User for other behaviours that Pasqal deems inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Reporting of non-compliance

If you experience, witness or know of an incident that entails unacceptable behaviour or actions, please report them as soon as possible to: community@pasqal.com
